It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lasiene Cher Hennessy of Tama, Iowa, born in Marshalltown, Iowa, who passed away on October 1, 2022, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Donald Hennessy; her grandparents, Harvey, Kewanee Lasley, Art and Alby Hennessy; her brother Perry Durnin; and her nieces, Starla and Delphine Durnin.
She is survived by: her mother Rae Jean Lasley of Tama; her children, Michelle Summer (Seth) of North Liberty and Nolan Roberts (Jessica) of Cedar Rapids; her stepfather Larry Shefchik of Toledo; her siblings, Tina Durnin of Toledo, Adonica Hennessy of Toledo, Delrae Hennessy of Toledo, Jody Durnin of Davenport and James Shefchik of Toledo; her grandchildren, Reanna, Trayton, Skyler, Maddux, Malachi, Macael, Marcus, Percy and Anistyn; her aunts, Wanda Lasley, Gayle Walker and Mary Youngbear; her boyfriend Todd Skala; and her brothers, Leland Morgan and Sean Keahna.
