She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Bartling and Lillie Bartling (Ballhorn); her husband Robert Atchison; her children, Tim Atchison and Paulette; her son-in-law Mel Blocker (Kevin Hintermeister); her siblings, Lorene Yonda (Bill), Richard Bartling (Alice), LaDean Wauters, Roger Bartling (Mary), Lavern Bartling (Shirley), Merle Bartling, Shirley Schultz (David), Ronald Bartling (Marilyn), Richard Ervin, Henry Anderson and Leonard Starits; her parents-in-law, Arthur and Eva Atchison; and her in-laws, Arnold Atchison (Blanche), Vivian Brecht (Clarence), Lorraine Vore (Virgil), Rachel Coye (Kenneth), John Atchison (Elaine), Donna Brower (Cliff), Norman Atchison (Mary), Patty Schultz, Bonnie Skarda (Charles) and Paul Chyma Sr..
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Blocker of Tama; her grandchildren, Stacie Hauser (Eric) of Tama, Tricia Blocker Smith of Norwalk and Ryan Blocker (Charlotte) of Toledo; her stepgranddaughter Wendy Hintermeister of Toledo; her great grandchildren, Tim Hauser, Jeff Hauser, Kourtne Klocko (Keaton), Clay Blocker (Megan), Kolton Smith (Nicole) and Conner Blocker; her stepgrandsons, Vincent Hintermeister (Destiny) and Wyatt Hintermeister; her great great grandchildren, Lauren, Elizabeth Blocker, Krew and Kenna Klocko; her siblings, Arlene Starits of Toledo, Darlene Ervin of Tama and Larry Bartling (Shirley) of Tama; and her sister-in-law Mary Chyma of Toledo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home (209 E 7th St, Tama, IA 52339). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial fund will be established.
