He is survived by: his wife Agnes Howe of Tama; his children, Nova Gottsche of Hartington, Joe Douglas of State, Randi Douglas (Bill Mowry) of Albert City, Dani VanHouten (Jesse) of Cushing and Sam Gee (Joe) of Akron, Iowa; his stepchildren, Jacob Buchanan (Rachel) of Fort Dodge and Heather Woosley (Tony) of Cherokee; his grandchildren, Brandon, Hailey, Riley, Alexis, Gavin, Collin, Nolan, Willa, Nevaeh, Caiden, Paiten, Trulee and Regan; his stepgrandchildren, Robbie, Evelyn, Dalton and Mariah; and his siblings, Leslie Douglas (Linda) of Moville, Iowa, Sandra Collins (Don) of Danbury and Susan Gudis (Tim) of Wisconsin.
