Larry Dean Blocker Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2023, at the age of 76, Larry Dean Blocker of Tama, Iowa, born in Marshalltown, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin V. Blocker and Tena Blocker (Balvin); his brothers, Melvin P. Blocker and Gordon Blocker; his brothers-in-law, Frank Seymour, Gary Baughman and Wes Genson; and his former wife Siretta Blocker.

He is survived by: his former spouse Siretta Marvin; his wife Bev Papesh of Tama; his children, Tami Blocker of Toledo, Christy Blocker of Belle Plaine, Teri Anderson (Tom) of Medina, OH and Tim Blocker of Toledo; his stepchildren, B. J. Papesh (Danielle Elliot) of Tama, Brandi Oaxaca (Tano) of Tama and Betsy Sawyer (Curt) of Montour; his siblings, Patsy Seymour, Jim Blocker (Audrey), Jeanette Genson, Delores Baughman, David Blocker (Nancy), Keith Blocker (Rita), Kenneth Blocker (Bev), LeRoy Blocker (Connie), William Blocker (Chris), Eugene Blocker (Mary) and Darrell Blocker; and his sister-in-law Debbie Blocker. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
