We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2024, at the age of 75, John Raphael TePoel of Tama, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid John Raphael farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For John Raphael is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Wayne and Luella Mae TePoel (Spratt); and his sister-in-law Mary TePoel. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Rund (Benner) of Tama; his children, Duane TePoel (Brenda) of Solon and Johnna Nelson (Dave) of Becker, MN; his stepson Terry Benner of Tama; and his brother Leonard TePoel (Jody Snodgrass) of Solon. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
