He is survived by: his wife Peggy Lasley of Tama; his brother Michael Wanatee Jr.; and his children, Johannes Wanatee Jr. (Heather), Jules Wanatee, Christopher Wanatee, Joleen Wanatee, Sondra Alas and Kayella Ornelas (Fernando). He is also survived by ten grandsons; twelve granddaughters; seven great-grandchildren; and aunts and uncles.
