He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Leksell, Mary Hutson and Theresa Carolus; his grandchildren, Britney Zazueta, Jeffrey Roaden, Jenna Short, Katie Short, Leslie Pallwitz and Emily Lehmer; and his siblings, Edward William Jr., Karen Thompson and Fern McGuire. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
