He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Roberts and Mae Roberts (Keahna); his wife Jeanne; his sons, Gerald Roberts and Elton Roberts; and his siblings, Raye Roberts, Wilson Roberts and Roberta Roberts.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Roberts of Tama, Josetta Albert (Stephen) of Tama, Angel Duarte (Alex) of Des Moines and Issiah Roberts of Tama; his brothers, Llewellyn Roberts and Elmer Roberts Sr.; his grandchildren, Stephen "Daibwe" Albert, Shoney Albert, Artorious Albert, Royal Albert, Aeriel Albert, Laraina Roberts, Alayna Duarte and Ayden Duarte; and his great grandchild Vincent Albert. He is also survived by several other grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
