He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Wanatee of Tama; his children, Arlo Wanatee (Melinda), Colton Joy (Tanya), Elynn Joy, Tanata Joy, Brienne Joy, Savannah Joy and Virginia Joy; and his siblings, Beverly Roberts, Sharon Mervin, Cheryl Wright, Preston and Vincent Duncan. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
