She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Thompson and Lois Ethel Thompson (Sears); her husband Owen "Tub"; and her siblings, Helen Stephens, Mary Lee McCurry and Laverne Thompson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janice Coble (Tim) of Des Moines and Jody Pietz (Mike) of Ames; and her grandchildren, Kacey Pietz of Ames and Brody Pietz of Los Angeles, CA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
