It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Wellington Wanatee Sr. of Tama, Iowa, born in Toledo, Iowa, who passed away on April 21, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank David Wanatee Sr. and Jean Adeline Wanatee (Morgan); and his siblings, David Clark, Ethelyn and Francis To.
He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Lasley; his siblings, Elizabeth Roberts, Marian Davenport, Darrel Wanatee, Frank Wanatee Jr. and Sunni Joy; his children, David Clark II, Dawn Suzanne, Heather, Donnielle, Donetta, Donica, Donnae and Donald Jr.; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Carolyn, Caitlin, Clarissa, Thane, Quinn, Megan, Jay Jr., Jaycob, Jaylynn, Loveena, Viviana and Natalia. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
