With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darrell Lynn Wogan Sr. in Tama, Iowa, who passed away on February 4, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Verl Vinton Wogan and Francis Mae Hill (Hill); his wife Evelyn Wogan (Shelter); and his brothers, Bobby Wogan and Darwin Wogan.
He is survived by: his children, Darrell Wogan, Jr. (Paula) of Lynden, Washington, Karmen Shoemaker (Greg) of Fairbanks, Christine Baldwin (Steve) of Palmer, Karen Hirschi (Brad) of Central Park and Debra Spencer (Rusty) of Elma, Washington; his sister Cheryl Freet (Jack) of Gillman, Iowa; his grandchildren, Jamie Elenbaas, Keith Wogan, Alicia Herning, Nathon Shoemaker, Jessica Baldwin, Janel Baldwin, Amber Braaten, Kaleb Blume, Dannikah Doyle, Ryan Spencer, Mitchell Spencer and Dylan Spencer; and his great grandchildren, Emmett Wogan, Thomas Wogan, Olivia Wogan, Natalie Elenbaas, Troy Elenbaas, Kaylen Herning, Riley Herning, Kolton Shoemaker, Kasen Shoemaker, Kadence Braaten, Adam Braaten, Sawyer Spencer, Easton Spencer, Aubree Spencer, Sterling Spencer, Freya Spencer, Harrison Spencer, Sebastian Blume and Archer Blume.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Montesano Senior Center. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Wynoochee Cemetery.
