We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2022, at the age of 92, Cecil Bearden of Tama, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jesse and Violet Fern Bearden (See); his wife Elva Irene Wulff; his grandson Michael Hazelton; his brother Carl Bearden; and his sister-in-law Bettie Bearden.
He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Hazelton (James) of Cedar Rapids, Brenda Shafer (Nick) of Plattsmouth, NE and Sandra Svacina (Paul) of Toledo; his grandchildren, Lance Shafer (Lainie) of Papillion, NE, Jeffrey Shafer (Amanda) of Omaha, NE, Courtney Svacina of Marshalltown, Caitlin Skarin (Jordan) of Radcliffe, Chris Flott of Omaha, NE and Jim Bob Shafer (Laura) of Omaha, NE; his brothers, Charles Bearden (Mary Lynne) of Gladbrook, Chester Bearden (Elizabeth) of Toledo, Clifford Bearden (Joyce) of Hudson, FL, Fritz Bearden (Mila) of Toledo and Clyde Bearden (Merna) of Tama; and his friend Cynthia Roth of Tama. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson.
