He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Merrill Heard and Janet Heard; his wife Tamera Wilkins; his friend Linda; his sons, Joshua Heard (Kirsten) and James Heard (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Isabella, Elliot, Lincoln, Kaleb, Lane, Lucas and Clare; his nieces and nephews, Kristin Smith (Ian), Kim Mogler (Sam), Alex Heard (Morgan) and Aaron Heard (Breanna); his extended family Linda Confer; his brothers, Richard Heard and Daniel Heard; his grandparents, Herbert, Alma Bartz, Otto and Alice Heard; and also Penny.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nishna Valley Funeral Home - Tabor (602 Orange St, Tabor, IA 51653). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tabor Cemetery (26502 Waubonsie Ave, Tabor, IA 51653).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be directed to the family for designation.
