She was predeceased by: her parents, Naomi Belle Queen (Ferrel) and Ralph A Queen; her brother Donald; and her son Scott Edwin. She is survived by: her husband Freeman James Bertelsen; her children, James Kirk (Jamie) of Springfield, NE., Kimberlee Johnson (Greg Pella) of Brownville, NE and Mark Bertelsen (Melissa) of Papillion, NE; her grandchildren, Dane Johnson (Mary McCandless), Lauren Wymore (Nick) of Cape Coral, FL, Drew Johnson of Elkhorn, NE, Max Johnson (Ashton) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Marcus Johnson of Omaha, NE, Matthew Bertelsen (Sarah) of Ralston, NE, Chloe Bertelsen of Omaha, NE, Mark Bertelsen (Christian) of Papillion, NE, Layna Stanley (Evan) of Glenwood, IA, Tom Bertelsen of Colorado Springs, CO and Hillary Bertelsen of Des Moines, IA.; her great grandchildren, Parker James Johnson, Jude Freeman, Ethan James, Louis Avery Wymore, Henry Freeman, Eleanor Grace Bertelsen, Deagan James Stanley, Berkley Lynn Stanley and Zachary Lee Bertelsen; her sister Lynda Jensen (Queen) of Olathe, KS; and her sisters-in-law, Jane Dwornicki (Frank) of Ralston, NE and Barbara Winkler of Sidney, IA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and a host of dear friends and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will go to the Brownville Concert Hall.
