He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Meier. He is survived by: his mother Gloria Meier (Rollins); his partner Cameron Vanatta (Cammie); his sons, Daniel and Isaac Vanatta; and his siblings, John Meier (Christiana), Kimberly Meier, Randy Meier, Rodney Meier (Pixie), Roger Meier (Erin) and Tammy Rhea (Jason). He is also survived by Many aunts, numerous nieces and nephews, a host of friends and extended family.

Due to the State of Iowa Covid-19 Guidelines, visitation is limited to 15 persons in the building at one time.
