He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Blackburn and Ada Cleo Blackburn (King); his former wife Eleanor Julienne Bateman; his parents-in-law, Burdette, Janice Hunt, Morris and Lucille Bateman; his brothers, Max Blackburn (Zylpha), Bill Blackburn (Grace), Dick Blackburn (Jean) and Jackie Blackburn; his brothers-in-law, Marvin Boyce, Joe Bateman and Art Bateman (Kae); his granddaughter-in-law Ranay Albertsen; and his grandson Cole Vanatta.
He is survived by: his wife Janette Eleanor Hunt; his children, Rodney Blackburn (Beth) of Tabor, Douglas Blackburn (Hannah) of Tabor, Valeri Albertsen (Kevin) of Riverton, Tracy Vanatta (Tom) of Tabor and Danny Blackburn (Lisa) of Tabor; and his siblings-in-law, Terry Sell, Barbara Sell, Carolyn Boyce, Doreen Bateman, Bill Richardson and Keva Richardson. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Memorials will go to Tabor Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Association.
