He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hart and Myrtle Hart (Wyatt); his sisters, Carol Carlson and Sally Evers; and his aunt Ruby Chapman.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Hart; his children, Richard Hart, Jr. (Lisa) and Stacy Lawrence (Noah); his grandchildren, Camryn (Britt), Dylan and Payton; his great grandchildren, Ryla and Baylor; his brothers, Robert Hart (Brenda) and Edward Hart (Tina); and his pet Maisy.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service (520 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404).
