He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Cyrus and Iona Leola Fowler (Clemmons); his daughter-in-law Angie Fowler; his brother-in-law Charles Emerson; and his wife Jackie.
He is survived by: his sons, Aaron Cyrus Fowler (Jessica Fennern) and Jeff Fowler; his sister Virginia "Ginny" Wharton; his close friends, John Reynolds and Miss Betsy; and his former wife Monica Emerson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
