With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marilyn Ann Melsha of Swisher, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Marilyn Ann left this world on January 21, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Donovan and Alice Donovan (McDermott); her husband Lumir Melsha; her son Joe Melsha; her brothers, Denis Donovan, Dean Donovan and Donald Donovan; her siblings-in-law, Mary Anne Donovan, Bruce Melsha and Richard Serbousek; and her parents-in-law, Harold, Lilyan Sirowy and Joseph "Jike" Melsha.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Melsha (Heidi), Mike Melsha (Shar) and Dean Melsha (Kris); her grandchildren, AJ, Travis Melsha, Ben (Loryn), Alex Richard and Kyle Saulsbury; her daughter-in-law Lorraine Melsha; her sister Janet Kaliban (Kenny); and her sisters-in-law, Ginger Serbousek and Linda Melsha. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brosh Chapel (2121 Bowling St SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Ludmilas Catholic Church (211 21st Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404).
