With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis Stephen Sr. of Swisher, Iowa, who passed away on August 29, 2020 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Alphonse Cozzi; his siblings, Al Stephen (Helen), Sophia Perz (Frank), Jean Mihalovich (Emil) and Mary Karalewski (Joe); his parents, Michael Szczepan and Salomeja Mrozinska Szczepan; and his wife Marie Helen Smitko.
He is survived by: his children, Frank Stephen, Jr. (Barb) and Michele Cozzi; his grandchildren, Kim Shuler (John), Jennifer Streit (Chad), Frank Stephen, 3rd (Katie), Esther Chiddister (Kevin), John Stephen, Rickey Stephen, Liana Reimer (Cort), Justin (Jaclyn McGowan), Alphonse Cozzi 3rd (Cathy) and Anthony Cozzi; his great grandchildren, Sarah, Jake Shuler, Drew, Evan, Jawon Streit, Jaslyn Stephen, Andrew, Ben, Ashley Morio, Lincoln, Landon Chiddister, Estie Dillard, Hazel Reimer, Paige, Nate McGowan, Juan 3rd, Michaela, Alphonse, Anthony and Sophia Cozzi; and his great great grandchild Juan.
