He was predeceased by: his wife Millie; his daughter Diane Bys; his brother-in-law Richard Pospisil; and his parents, Joel Miller and Mildred Miller (Scheevel).
He is survived by: his daughters, Lynn Mallicoat (Steve) of Solon, Nancy Brown of Atkins, Debie Towe (Stuart) of Norway and Kristi Nove (Shawn) of Fairfax; his son-in-law Jim Bys of Shueyville; and his sister Linda Lund (Steve) of Albert Lea, MN. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shueyville Church (1195 Steeple Ln NE, Swisher, IA 52338).
