With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Connie Walkup of Swisher, Iowa, born in Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on August 20, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Connie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gerald Walkup and Donna Walkup (Moss); her brothers, Robert Walkup and Dennis Walkup (Ronda Wilson); and her pets, Missy and Sweety.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Connie's memory to Iowa City Hospice or Bird House, Hospice Home of Johnson County.
