It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Richard Terrell of Swisher, Iowa, born in Hinsdale, Illinois, who passed away on September 27, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Terrell and Huldah Terrell (Schonborn); his wife Sherrill Ruth Edblom; his son Richard Gordon Terrell; his great grandchild Casey Leichsenring; and his brother Joseph Terrell.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Kay Leichsenring (Richard) of Middle Amana, Rebecca Ann Weyer (Tim) of Portland, Thomas Leroy Terrell (Dawn) of Swisher and Timothy Loren Terrell (Lorrie) of Swisher; his grandchildren, Jennifer Hemmeyer (Mark), Gregory Weyer of Portland, Jesse Leichsenring (Olivia Seehafer) of Baraboo, Matthew Leichsenring of Colorado Springs, Sonya LaGrange (Matt Ironside) of Swisher, Samantha Ternes of South Carolina, Andy and Kalli Terrell of Swisher; his great grandchildren, Paul, Ayla, Gabriel Hemmeyer, Nate, Annie Leichsenring, Preston, Colton, Sadie, Landyn, Kadyn LaGrange, Jaxton, Maddex, Xavier and Lincoln Ternes; his siblings, Shirley Rammelsberg of Fairfax and Ernest Terrell (Effie) of Illinois; and his sister-in-law Carol Terrell of Illinois. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
