He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Marak and Martha Marak (Stejskal); his mother-in-law Helen Rotter; and his sisters-in-law, Mary and Donna.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, Chris Marak (Penny) and Susan Marak Jones (Kevin); his grandchildren, Adam, Kate, Jennifer, Justin and Joshua; his stepgrandchildren, Casey, Natasha and Stephanie; his brother Darrell Marak (Carolyn); and his siblings-in-law, Jim Rotter (Linda) and Shirley Schulte. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
