It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Brown of Swisher, Iowa, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 26, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazzard Brown and Hilda May Brown (Cooper); and his sister Beverly Brown. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Brown (Dorr) of Swisher; his son David Brown (Katie) of Norwalk, Iowa; and his grandsons, Ben and Jack Brown of Norwalk.

A memorial fund in Bernie's name has been established and may be directed to the family.
