She was predeceased by: her brother Jerry; her son Kevin Isaiah; and her husband Marlin Richard Geerdes. She is survived by: her children, Joy Osborn (Larry) of Swea City, Peggy Redmon (Harold) of Colby, KS, Laura Jenkins (Leonard Laue) of Armstrong, Wilbur Geerdes (Cindy) of Swea City, Michael Geerdes of Swea City and Glendon Geerdes (Sheila Gronbach) of Swea City. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church - Swea City (104 1st St S, Swea City, IA 50590). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
