He is survived by: his sister Eunice of Eureka; his sister-in-law Betty Deputy (Bard) of Harrisonburg; and his children, Elizabeth of Pantego, Donald (Rhoda) of Sparta and Marvin (Dorothy) of Hayward. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren (two spouses); and two great grandchildren.
