She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edgar Merrill and Grace Merrill (Buchholz); her husband Donald Woodall (Bill); her brother Lowell Merrill; her sons, Philip Woodall (Beth) of Sutherland, IA and John Woodall (Amy) of Hartley, IA; her grandchildren, Ben Woodall and Abby Woodall; her stepgrandchildren, Mitchell Mick of Luverne, MN and Cassie Griswold (Patrick) of Elizabethtown, IL; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Merrill of Hawarden, IA. She was also cherished by other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Sutherland Noah's Ark Daycare Center or the South O'Brien School Library Fund.
