He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Leonard and Eva Leonard (Albert); his brother John Leonard; his brother-in-law Lewis Neiman (Toby); and his grandchild Zoey Becker.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Augusta Link of Sutherland; his children, Lori Magnuson (Brian) of Sutherland, IA, Daniel Leonard (Sherry) of O'Fallon, MO, Ann Metivier (Mike) of Worthing, SD and Jean Leonard of Sutherland, IA; his grandchildren, Adam Magnuson (Caitlin), Cody Magnuson (Lisa), Landon Leonard, Alyssa Graczyk, Samuel Metivier, Marcus (Quinci Brewer), Austin Metivier, Margaret Riesop (Ryan), Shawn Becker (Molly) and Shelby McKay (Sam); his great grandchildren, Kaylie Johnson (Angel), Megan Panitzke (Josh), Braiden, Millie Metivier, Avery Riesop, Emma Riesop, Olivia Becker, Sawyer McKay and Falynn Panitzke; and his sisters, Betty Neiman of Park Rapids, MN and Judith Lorenz (Tom) of Spencer, IA. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews; relatives and many friends.
