He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Leo and Monica Johannsen (Panther); his wife Harriet Hill; his daughter Valerie Stefaniak; and his sister Helen Slobaszewski.
He is survived by: his children, James (Cheryl Johannsen) of Johnstown, CO, David "DJ" (Barb Johannsen) of Sutherland, IA and Rachel Buchanan (Gordon) of Spring Hill, TN; and his son-in-law Scott Stefaniak of Sussex, WI. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
