He is survived by: his children, Linda Tewes of Hartley, Wayne Haht (Sandy) of Spirit Lake, Jim Haht (Alice) of Sutherland, Susan Hinspeter of Sutherland and Chris Haht (Trish) of Storm Lake, Iowa; his children-in-law, Micki Haht and Tyler Sechler of Calumet, Iowa; and his sister Bernice Zeeb of Custer. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
