With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther Jalas (Sutherland, Iowa), who passed away on January 8, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Duncan and Agnes Duncan (Kaiser); her husband Harry Jalas; and her siblings, Robert Duncan and Alice Maurer.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Jalas (Char) of Sutherland, IA, Linda Jungjohan of Terrell, TX, Mary McLatchie (Bob) of Mediapolis, IA, Jim Jalas (Lori) of Primghar, IA and Carol Sadler (Rusty) of Battle Creek, IA; and her sister Ethel Hyde of Spencer, IA.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Esther's name.
