She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Steckel and Mary Steckel (Gaynor); her husbands, Bernard E. Watterson and Paul Rohwer; her daughter Debra Lynn Yuysteke; her grandson Justin Watterson; and her brother DeWayne Steckel.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Watterson (Ginny) of Ray, David Watterson (Susan) of Hastings, Minnesota, Denise Gellhaus (Roger) of Omaha, Nebraska, Dawn Feucht (Ron) of Spencer and Dale Watterson of Julian; her stepchildren, Donna Rohwer (Bill), David Rohwer (Cecila), Ralph Rohwer (Gloria) and Lee Rohwer (Marilee); and her sister Mary Jane Evans of San Diego. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
