She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Carrier and Margo Carrier (Meyerdirk); her in-laws, Ken and Alice Maurer; her sister-in-law Nancy Maurer; and her niece Elaina Maurer.
She is survived by: her children, Benjamin Maurer of Spencer, IA and Allison Maurer of Omaha, NE; her husband Bradley Maurer; her daughter Elizabeth Maurer of Sutherland, IA.; her sister Melissa Hasty (Rich); her nephews, Charles and Richard Hasty; and her siblings-in-law, Ron Maurer, Greg Maurer (Deana), Gail Maurer (Sherry) and Cindy Lundquist (Doug). She is also survived by many extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Debra's name.
