With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon Alvin Ragsdale (Sumner, Iowa), born in Waverly, Iowa, who passed away on October 17, 2019 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Ragsdale and Arville Ragsdale (Davis). He is survived by: his wife Kathy Krie; his sons, Russell Ragsdale (Jean) of Peyton, Timothy Ragsdale of Waterloo and Daniel Ragsdale of Anamosa; his grandchildren, Matthew Ragsdale, Brittany Chesser (Darien), Marcus Ragsdale, Amanda Ragsdale and Macy Ragsdale; his great grandchildren, Cassadee and Layla Chesser; and his siblings, Robert (Joann), Everett (Caroline), Jerry (Susan), Ettamae Henze (Dale), Laura Henze (Dallas), Carol Nolan (Buckie) and Betty Newville (Rick).
Memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Bremer County Parks.
