It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Bernard (Sumner, Iowa), born in West Union, Iowa, who passed away on April 26, 2017, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Boehmler and Barbara Boehmler (Niles). He is survived by: his spouse Stacie Sandhagen; his children, Brian Boehmler (Rebecca) of Sumner, Savannah Boehmler of Cedar Falls and Matthew Boehmler of Cedar Falls; his fiancée Cindy Carpenter of Sumner; his grandchildren, Isaac, Sophie, Ezekiel, Kate and Amos Boehmler of Sumner; his siblings, Niles Boehmler (Jane) of Hawkeye, Sue Dutcher (John) of Cedar Falls, June Jurgenson (Wayne) of Sumner and Rosie Crouch (Wayne) of Westgate; and his friend van.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
