She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Johnson and Norma Johnson (Lee); her husband Donald Buhr of Sumner; and her sisters, Muriel Nading and Shirley Metcalf.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. JoAnn Buhr of Milwaukee and Steven Buhr (Sharon) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Ryan Buhr (Jennifer) and Jenna Burton (Madison) of Cedar Rapids; her great grandchildren, Jack, Erik, Lily and Peter Buhr; and her siblings, Gerald Johnson (Barb) of Fairfield, California, Florence Geary of Cedar Falls and Marilyn Farwell of Powell, Wyoming. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, and extended family.
