We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2022, at the age of 89, Betty Fordyce of Sumner, Iowa, born in Redding, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oren E. Campbell and Kathryn P. Campbell (Garity); her husband Francis Clay Fordyce; and her siblings, Margaret Hays, Pat Campbell, Annabel Brown and Linda Auger.

She is survived by: her children, Francine Jane Davis (Alan), Phil Fordyce (Deb) and Gary Fordyce (Rivkah Bryk); her grandchildren, Tanya Ramirez (Albert), Katie Arthur (Brad), Michael Davis and Ben Fordyce (Samantha); her great grandchildren, Ford Arthur and Addison Arthur; and her siblings, Oren Jr. Campbell (Wanda), Bob Campbell (Garnett), Kathy Sixkiller and Cherri Ferguson (Tom).

Memorials may be given in her name to any charity which helps people in need.

“so sorry for the loss of your sweet mother/grandmother! we live across the street from Betty before she left Oelwein to go to sumner. Special blessings to Katie and Brad for taking Betty into your home. Thats alot of work but its worth it! She loved my black charger, apparently it brought back memories of an old black charger she and her husband had many years ago. may all the memories you have bring you comfort and peace, she sure was a gem!! ken and Jalene”
