She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl W. Krol and Mary Lois Vande Krol (Schmidt); and her granddaughter Maggie Sue Van Kooten. She is survived by: her husband Michael Hovda; her children, Rachel, Jeremy, Bethany and Nathanael; and her brother Wes (Jaci Vande Krol).
