It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Christensen (Sully, Iowa), born in Brewton, Alabama, who passed away on December 13, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis F. Reynolds and Mabel Ruth Reynolds (Bohannon); her husband Alfred Junior Christensen; and her grandson T. J. Christensen. She is survived by: her children, Gary Christensen (Lynnette) of Sully, Greg Christensen (Denise) of Chandler, Melissa Johnson (Dan) of Mountain Home and Mary Ann Hawkins (Dale) of Dinwiddie, Virginia; her grandchildren, Rachel Deur (Travis), Andrea Van Steenis (Dave), Jamis Christensen (Sarah), Skyler Christensen, Kaycie Christensen, Brandon Johnson, Lucas Johnson and Taylor Ellis (Chris); and her siblings-in-law, Christina Shilling of Knoxville and Marinus Christensen (Laverne) of Loveland, Colorado. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
