With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Paul Schafer (Stuart, Iowa), born in Atlantic, Iowa, who passed away on December 28, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Schafer and Marie Schafer (Eberl); his brothers, Robert and Ronald; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Schafer and Lynda Enright.

He is survived by: his son Timothy Alan; his wife Dianne Enright; his daughter-in-law Susan; his grandchildren, Dakota Schafer, McKenna Keck (Justin), Navey Joliet (Jacob) and Cross Schafer; his great grandchild Liza Keck; his brothers, Lou Schafer (Judy), Chris Schafer (Donna) and Charlie Schafer (Lana); and his sisters-in-law, Lynette Schafer, Janet Schafer and Janon Douglas.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Congregational Church.
