It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wayne Lee Watts of Stuart, Iowa, born in Jefferson, Iowa, who passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Margery Watts (LeMar); his brothers, Ralph Watts and Dean Watts; and his parents, Merle Watts and Winter Watts (Brown).
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Watts-Heyer (Bradley) of Polk City and Cynthia Salsberry (Steven) of Waukee; and his siblings, Phyllis Bruecks of Omaha, Linda Thompson of Johnston and Larry Watts (Faye) of Stuart. He is also survived by his Grandchildren.
A graveside service for family and friends will be held at the Stuart South Grove Cemetery on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 3:00 p. m. Please be respectful and use Covid precautions if you are not fully vaccinated.
Any memorial contributions will be directed toward establishing a scholarship fund in Wayne's name for any West Central senior (s) pursuing an agriculture-related degree, beginning in the fall of 2022.
