It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Neil Allen Hoek in Stuart, Iowa, born in Montrose, South Dakota, who passed away on February 14, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin "Bud" Hoek and Marie Hoek; his daughter Michelle Kalbach; his brothers-in-law, Gary Knudson and Jim Kelly; his son-in-law Dwight Stearns; and his great grandchild Nathan Hoek.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Knudson; his children, Pam Stearns, Scott Hoek (Lisa) and Jonathan Hoek (Donna); his grandchildren, Adam Jensen, Elizabeth Heimdal (Jason), Amber Pope, Conrad Hoek (Katie), Jourdan Bostrom (Jeremy), Dakota Zimmerman, Zackary Zimmerman (MaKayla), Alexander Kalbach, Keely Keesler (Brandon), Matthew Hoek (Olivia), Daniel Hoek (Julie), Katelyn Hoek and Abigail Mechlin (Rafael); his great grandchildren, Cameron Jensen, Riley Jensen, Jackson Heimdal, Madeline Heimdal, Lillian Black, Layton Black, Gabriel Feller, Harper Bostrom, Wyatt Bostrom, Carter Bostrom, David Kalbach and Danielle Keesler; his son-in-law David Kalbach; and his siblings, Marvin Hoek (Patricia), Verdonna Kelly, Barbara Wildermuth (Dan) and Jerry Hoek (Linda). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
