She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Nicholas Schrodt and Edna Elna Jones; her husband William Robert Tiernan; her siblings, Jacquelyn Anderson and Nicholas Schrodt; and her children, Colleen Otto, Eric, Thomas and Peter Tiernan.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher Tiernan Sr. (Kathy Corbin) of Marshalltown, Ellen Tiernan (Ken Iwai) of Chicago, Angela Buskohl (Randy See) of Rowley and Shane (Cathy); and her children-in-law, Donna Miller of Winfield, Margret Tiernan of Stuart and Bruce Otto of Grinnell. She is also survived by 46 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great- grandchildren.
