He is survived by: his sons, Rick Carter of Guthrie Center, Dave Carter of Dexter, Danny Carter of Dexter and Jerry Carter of Dexter; his grandchildren, Jeff (Yvette), Ginnie (Joel), Shannon, Dawn (Zack), Justin (Brandie), Jessie, Mandy, Lacy (Allen) and Cody; and his siblings, Pat Thompson and Tom Fredericksen. He is also survived by 26 Great-Grandchildren; eight Great-Great-Grandchildren.
