We bid farewell to Robert John Meyer of Strawberry Point, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 15, 2025 at the age of 71. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Meyer and Mildred Meyer (Fischer); his wife Brenda Meyer; his son Nicholas Meyer; his brother Thomas Meyer; his nephews, Nathan Chopard and Dan Meyer; his niece Jenny Grundmeyer; and his brothers-in-law, Dale Grundmeyer and Paul Chopard.
He is survived by: his daughter Ashley Brantner (Kyle) of Madison, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Bryant Meyer-Kemp, Alexis Nading, Claire Nading, Kaleb Thomas and Anya Dinger; his daughter-in-law Julie Kemp; and his siblings, Joan Streight (Gerald) of Dubuque, Kay Burr (Ronald) of Marshalltown, Bill Meyer (Diana) of Elkader, Larry Meyer (Connie) of Strawberry Point, George Meyer (Ellen) of Strawberry Point, Pat Chopard of Edgewood, Julie Sandhagen (Ray) of Edgewood and Rick Meyer (Sue) of Strawberry Point. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (314 W Mission St, Strawberry Point, IA 52076). The inurnment was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at the Coffins Grove Cemetery (1399 Candle Rd, Manchester, IA 52057).
