It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Clarence McIntrye of Strawberry Point, Iowa, who passed away on September 21, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris McIntyre and Mary McIntyre (Fisher); his wife Katharina Wood; his daughter Amy Lynn; his siblings, Elmer Bruns and Colleen Heuchelin; and his brothers-in-law, Vernon Baumgartner, Leo Bockenstedt and Arnold Kray.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert McIntyre (Allison) of Strawberry Point and Christopher McIntyre (Shayla) of Waverly; his grandchildren, Katharina, Eloise, Michael and Jameson; his sisters, Mary Kray of Strawberry Point, Lois Bockenstedt of Edgewood and Agnes McIntyre of Denver, Colorado; and his siblings-in-law, Phil Wood (Mary Ellen Degnan) of Columbia Missouri, Pete Wood of Manchester, Wayne Heuchelin of Edgewood and Jeanette Wood of Manchester. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
