He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Ohl and Blanche Ohl (Mahanna); his children, Brad Ohl and Lori; his son-in-law Rick Ernst; his great grandchild Lincoln Grundmeyer; and his siblings, Phillip Ohl (Lillian), Clyde Ohl (Essie), LeRoy Ohl (Myrna), Walter, Robert Ohl, Marshall Ohl, Daisy Strempke (Albert), Mabel Campbell (Virgil), Ada Fleming (Leslie), Donna Fish (Walter), Laura Bates (Clyde) and Isabel McMillan (Donald).
He is survived by: his former wife Betty Jensen; his children, Dana Meyers (Dave) of Oelwein and Denise Ballo (Mark) of Ankeny; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Ohl of Oelwein; and his sister-in-law Patricia Ohl of Independence. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; Marge's children.
Because of COVID-19, masks are required at the church.
