It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Wessels (Strawberry Point, Iowa), who passed away on March 17, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wessels and Gertrude Agnes Wessels (Schimke); and his sisters, Betty Cornelison and Shirley Clement. He is survived by: his children, Alan Wessels (Nona) of Strawberry Point, Gary Wessels (Debbie) of Ankeny, David (Insook) of Ames and Kathy Ekstrom (Dave) of Stratford; his brother Conrad Wessels of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and his brother-in-law Jan Esch of Strawberry Point. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
